Built by enthusiasts.
Run with care.

Black Duck Detailing started in 2024 with one belief — that cars deserve better than a production-line wash. Today we're Brisbane's enthusiast-driven mobile detailing service, delivering showroom results to driveways across Greater Brisbane.

The why behind the work.

We started Black Duck Detailing because we couldn’t find a detailing service that treated cars the way we’d want our own treated. Most operations rush, use generic products, and never explain what they’re doing or why.

So we built the opposite. Premium products only. The right technique for each paint and panel. Patience. Genuine care. And honest, transparent pricing — you’ll always know what you’re paying for and why.

Three years on, we’re still a tight team that’s small enough to care about every car we touch. We’re enthusiasts first and operators second. That’s the difference you can feel.

What we stand for

Four principles. Non-negotiable.

01 / Care

Every car treated as our own

No production-line shortcuts. We work at the pace the car needs, not the pace the schedule wants.

02 / Products

Premium products only

Professional-grade compounds, polishes, sealants and coatings. The right tool for the right paint.

03 / Honesty

Transparent pricing

You'll get a clear quote up front. No hidden extras, no surprise upsells on the day.

04 / Craftsmanship

We don't just clean cars

We take the time to get the details right and deliver a finish we're proud of.

Easily the best detail my car has ever had. He genuinely cares about the work — three years of swirl marks gone, paint looking better than the day I picked it up.

Paint correction · Sunnybank

Booked them for a presale detail before listing my Mercedes. Sold within four days for $3k over my expected price. The interior alone looked brand new — worth every cent.

Did ceramic coating and tinting on my Model Y. Cabin temp is noticeably cooler, paint beads water like crazy, and the booking process was effortless. Will be back for the wife's car.

Daniel Nguyen

Ceramic + tint · Carindale

Two kids, a dog and three years of daily commuting had completely trashed my interior. After the rejuvenation I genuinely thought I'd been given a different car. Incredible job.

Been using Black Duck for nearly two years now — never had a bad experience. The team is on time, friendly, and the finish is consistently spotless. Highly recommend.

Maintenance detail · Indooroopilly

Had a nasty door ding from a carpark. Booked the dent repair, took less than an hour, and you can't tell where it was. Saved me hundreds vs the panel beater quote.

Spent good money on a new GT3 RS and wanted it protected properly. The ceramic coating job was meticulous — paint correction first, then the coating. Service was as premium as the car deserved.

Ceramic coating · Springfield

Got the ceramic tint on my Tesla. The temperature difference inside the cabin is unreal. Professional installers, no bubbles, perfect job.
